Gochujang is a Korean fermented sweet, savoury and spicy chilly paste. It is made from gochu-garu (chili powder), glutinous rice, meju (fermented soybean) powder, yeotgireum (barley malt powder) and salt.
And we decided to use this flavour bomb into our bacon!
It works wonders on the bacon – leaving us with a tender, gently spiced, sweet, salty and umami rasher of bacon.
